COVID-19

POLICIES &

PROCEDURES

UPDATED FOR THE 2021/2022 INDOOR SEASON

The importance of the safety and well being of all golf lesson participants, as well as our community at large, has lead to a number of policy and procedure changes.  The safe operation of golf lesson services is a top priority and requires everyone’s participation.  Please see below for details outlining the new policies and procedures being implemented.

LESSON PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Lesson participation requires that individuals;

  • Are fully vaccinated with a minimum of 2 approved doses (must be 14 days past the second dose).

  • Are not showing signs and symptoms of illness of any kind.

  • Have not had any recent travel history outside of Canada in the past 14 days, or had close contact with anyone showing signs of illness with recent travel history (lesson participation may be permitted if proof of a negative COVID test is provided).

  • Have not tested positive for COVID-19 or come in close contact with someone who has a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.

Failure to abide by the above will result in an immediate stop to any lesson service in progress and you will be asked to leave the premisses.  Refunds will not be available, or, in the case of a prepaid lesson package, your lesson will be forfeited.

PRIOR TO YOUR LESSON

Participants are required to fill out the COVID-19 Online Questionnaire prior to your lesson(s).  A link will be sent via email the day prior to your scheduled lesson.  You can also access the questionnaire through the link at the top of this page or by clicking here.  Submissions will only be valid if completed within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson.

UPON ARRIVAL TO THE FACILITY

  • Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson.

  • Be prepared to show your proof of vaccination (you will only be required to show proof once, prior to your first lesson).

DURING YOUR LESSON

  • Lesson participants and instructors are REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times during each lesson.

  • Physical distancing to be maintained when reasonable to do so.

  • To minimize traffic, use of the simulator bay will be available during lesson times only.  Warm-up prior to your lesson or practice after your lesson is not permitted.

  • Lesson participants are required to bring their own golf clubs.  Borrowing/renting clubs will not be available.

The above policies and procedures are subject to change at any time.  Please check back here regularly for updates.  Any questions or concerns can be directed to bwilliams@pipersheath.com
